Please help us get ready for our BIG Bands of America contest next weekend if you can spare a few hours.
We have all of the tarps to go on the front drop frames and all around the field and we must get everything ready to rehearse coming on and off the field for Wednesday’s rehearsal next week. We need parent help to put tarps on the frames, as well as cut the larger tarps and tape washers around the perimeter of each to weigh them down. We will gladly accept donated rolls of Gorilla tape because we need a few thousand feet of it. Here is our anticipated timeline for volunteer help:
- Thursday (tomorrow): 4:45 take last year’s front drop artwork off and put new artwork on. Need a team of about 10 parents with drills, box cutters, and Gorilla tape.
- Monday: 4:45 take field tarps to marching pad. Cut larger ones and tape washers around the perimeter of every tarp. Need 10-15 parents with more Gorilla tape.
- Tuesday: Finish work from Monday
If you cannot come help in person, perhaps you could consider donating a roll of Gorilla Tape? (Sign up for that as well!)
