Henry Otts, a native of Fairhope, AL, is an active performer and educator, giving master-classes and private lessons throughout Austin during the school year and teaching World Champion drum and bugle corps Carolina Crown during the summers. 

Mr. Otts holds a Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Indiana University and is currently working towards a Masters in Euphonium Performance and Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. His former teachers include Dr. Will Peterson (University of South Alabama), Dan Perantoni (Army Band Pershing's Own, Indiana University), and Charles Villarubia (Rhythm in Brass, University of Texas at Austin). 

In Austin, TX, Mr. Otts manages a thriving studio of more than 30 euphonium players, with students consistently earning placement in All Region performing ensembles. Former students have achieved placement in the Texas 6A All-State Band and Indiana All-State Band, as well as several World Class Drum and Bugle Corps. 

Mr. Otts won the 2025 International Euphonium Tuba Festival artist division solo competition. He has competed as a semi-finalist in the prestigious Falcone International Tuba-Euphonium festival, and was runner up in the euphonium division at the Ralphael Mendez Brass institute.
