Hello Mav Band and Guard Family!

As you will see on the weekly schedule, the directors will be in San Antonio for most of the week for the TMEA convention with our two all-state students, Suhaan Khan and Jeremy Moon. This means the calendar will look quite different than it has the past few weeks.

We'll see you at our Winter Concert on Monday! Here are the details for the evening. All students are required to stay until the end of the concert. Concert black is required. I suggest students bring their clothes to school because they probably won't have time to go home after school.

The Baylor Wind Ensemble is performing in our band hall during the Wind Ensemble class on Tuesday! Unfortunately, we cannot get everyone out of class for this performance, but there is another opportunity for you to see a fantastic concert on Tuesday evening. The Texas State University Wind Symphony, which has a handful of McNeil Band grads, will perform at Weiss HS at 6:00! Both of these groups are doing a mini tour before their TMEA performances later in the week. I hope to see you there!

MULCH: Mulch sales are not going as they should yet. This is our main fundraiser for the spring semester so we NEED YOU to sell at least 100 bags or get $300 in donations. I'm also trying to sell 100 bags. The window is closing soon, so let's get to it! All students were given a packet in class a few weeks ago. All orders will be placed online at www.mcneilband.org.
